About

About London Eye - Standard Experience

The London Eye - Standard Experience takes place at the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres, it is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, with 32 high-tech glass capsules and 360-degree views across London.

From the wheel you can see landmarks including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square. It is a 30-minute rotation, giving time to take in the city from above.

Key facts: One rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. On a clear day, views can stretch up to 40 kilometres.

Before you book

Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Please go to Standard Access (A) at the time shown on your e-ticket, and present it printed or on a mobile device to be scanned before the start of your visit.

Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but for health and safety only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and eight wheelchairs in total on the London Eye at any one time. We recommend booking a wheelchair timeslot in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com and quoting your order reference. Mobility scooters are not admitted. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.
