About

About London Eye - Standard Experience

London Eye - Standard Experience takes place at the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres high, the attraction is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel and offers 360-degree views across London.

From the capsules, you can see landmarks including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square. The wheel has 32 high-tech glass capsules, giving a full view of the capital from above.

Key facts: One rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. On a clear day, views can stretch up to 40 kilometres.
