About

About London Eye - Standard Experience

London Eye - Standard Experience takes place at the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres, it is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, with 32 high-tech glass capsules and 360-degree views across London.

The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes and gives panoramic views in all directions, reaching as far as Windsor Castle on a clear day. From the wheel, you can see some of London’s best-known landmarks, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square.

The experience is designed for standard admission to one of London’s most recognisable attractions, with timed entry and scan-in at Standard Access (A) before your ride.

Key facts: One rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. Infants aged 3 years and under are free but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Before you book

Go to Standard Access (A) at the time shown on your e-ticket. Present your e-ticket, printed or on a mobile device, and you will be scanned in before the start of your tour.

Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and will qualify for one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival on presentation of proof of disability. The London Eye is wheelchair accessible, but for health and safety reasons only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and a maximum of eight wheelchairs in total are permitted on the London Eye at any one time. Once you have booked your standard ticket, wheelchair timeslots should be booked in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com and quoting your order reference. Mobility scooters are not admitted.

There are no exchanges or refunds available after purchase.
