About London Eye - Standard Experience

London Eye - Standard Experience takes place at the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres, the London Eye is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, with 32 high-tech glass capsules and 360-degree views across London.

Each rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. From the wheel you can see landmarks including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square, with views stated as reaching up to 40 kilometres on a clear day.

This is a direct way to see the capital from above in a single 30-minute rotation on one of the world’s tallest observation wheels.

Key facts: One rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. Infants aged 3 years and under are free but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.
