About Much Ado About Nothing 2026

Much Ado About Nothing 2026 is a new production of Shakespeare’s comedy at the Globe Theatre. The play follows Beatrice and Benedick as sharp tongues, gossip and old wounds feed a messy attraction, while Messina’s polished world of reputation and status starts to crack.

Directed by Chelsea Walker, whose previous Globe credit includes All’s Well That Ends Well at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, this production is set in a sun-soaked world where image matters and late-night parties run into dawn. It focuses on bad behaviour, second chances and the effort of recovering from old wounds.
