Love's Labours Lost 26 is a Summer staging of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost, presented as a flamenco-inspired new production. The play follows four women arriving in Navarre on a diplomatic mission, where the King and his lords are tested as vows give way to love, desire and wit.
In her Globe Theatre directing debut, Associate Artist Indiana Lown-Collins brings the warmth and vibrancy of her rural Spanish roots to this celebrated comedy. The production places rhythm, romantic tension, joy and melancholy at the centre of the story, with a focus on connection and the play’s unresolved ending.
Key facts: Flamenco-inspired production; Globe Theatre directing debut for Indiana Lown-Collins; a rare staging of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost.
