About

About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit to the Globe Theatre with time in the exhibition space, giving a clear introduction to stagecraft and Shakespeare’s London.

In the brand-new walk-through exhibition space, you can explore more than 400 years of history through sights, sounds and details from Shakespeare’s London. The displays are seasonally curated, and there are interactive costumes and props for those who want to see how the stage comes together.

The tour also takes you into the Globe Theatre itself, where expert Guides tell the story of the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s as part of one man’s radical vision. You can also see the craftsmanship of the theatre’s wooden “O” up close.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. Tours are in English and suitable for all ages.
