About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, combining a guided visit with time in the new walk-through exhibition space. It is designed to take you back to Shakespeare’s London, with a focus on the theatre’s stagecraft, history and the building itself.

Inside the exhibition space, you can move through over 400 years of history, with seasonally curated displays that revisit some of the Globe’s most iconic shows. There are also interactive costumes and props, giving visitors the chance to explore the experience of getting ready for the stage.

Your tour then continues into the Globe Theatre, where expert guides расскаke the story of the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s. The theatre is open-air, and tours go ahead in all conditions.

Key facts: approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. All tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages.
