About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, combining a guided visit to the Globe Theatre with time in a new walk-through exhibition space. The experience explores Shakespeare’s London, the theatre’s stagecraft and more than 400 years of history.

In the exhibition space, seasonally curated displays and interactive costumes and props bring the story to life before you head into the theatre itself. Expert guides explain the history of the original 1599 theatre, including its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s.

All tours are in English and information sheets are available in a number of languages. The Globe is an open-air theatre, so tours run in all conditions and it is sensible to dress for the weather.

Duration: approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
