About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, offering a guided look at the theatre and its exhibition space. The experience explores Shakespeare’s London and the history of the Globe, with expert Guides bringing the story of the theatre to life.

The visit includes a new walk-through exhibition with seasonally curated displays, interactive costumes and props, and access to the theatre itself. It also covers more than 400 years of history, including the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its rebuild in the 1990s.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

Before you book

All tours are in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. As the Globe is an open-air theatre, tours go ahead in all conditions, so please dress for the weather. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
