About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe take visitors through the Globe Theatre and the venue’s new walk-through exhibition space. The tour explores Shakespeare’s London, with seasonally curated displays, interactive costumes and props, and a closer look at the craft behind the stage.

Expert guides tell the story of the original 1599 theatre, from its survival through plague, fire and political oppression to its rebuilding in the 1990s. The visit also looks at the theatre’s wooden ‘O’ and the audiences who once filled the theatre.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50-minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
