About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit to the Globe Theatre with a walk-through exhibition space, offering a clear look at Shakespeare’s London and more than 400 years of history.

In the exhibition space, visitors can view seasonally curated displays and use interactive costumes and props. The theatre visit is led by expert guides and explores the story of the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s.

The tour also highlights the craftsmanship of the theatre and the history of the site as an open-air venue in London.

Key facts: Approx. 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
