About A World Elsewhere
A World Elsewhere plays at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. It follows Cass, a boy whose imagination has always been full of stories, as he and his imaginary friends move through adventures shaped by his grandmother’s love of Shakespeare.
When the stories begin to feel less inspiring and a strange darkness starts to spread through his elsewhere-world, the adventure takes a different turn. The production brings together music, laughter, friendship and imagination in a family story about storytelling itself.
The Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals returns with a piece described as funny, moving and inventive.
