A World Elsewhere plays in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and follows Cass, a boy with a heart full of stories. Inspired by his grandma’s love of Shakespeare, he and his band of imaginary friends have already shared adventures with heroes, villains, monsters and shipwrecks.
When the stories start to feel uninspiring and a strange darkness creeps into his elsewhere-world, Cass’s imagination begins to change. The show is presented as a celebration of storytelling, with music, laughter, friendship and imagination at its centre.
The Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals return with this production, which is described as funny, moving and inventively told.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, and they cannot be sat separately. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.
