A World Elsewhere at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse is a story-led show about Cass, a boy with a heart full of stories and an imagination that has taken him through heroes, villains, monsters and shipwrecks. As his world starts to feel different, the adventure becomes a search for what has changed in his “elsewhere-world”.
Inspired by his grandmother’s love of Shakespeare, Cass and his band of imaginary friends move through a series of invented adventures. The production is from the Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals, and brings together music, laughter, friendship and imagination.
Described as funny, moving and inventive, the show centres on storytelling and on the worlds that stories can create.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Age guidance: All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be sat separately.
