A World Elsewhere at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse follows Cass, a boy whose imagination has always been full of stories.
Inspired by his Grandma’s love of Shakespeare, Cass and his faithful band of imaginary friends meet heroes, face villains, outwit monsters, survive shipwrecks and head into adventures of every kind. When the stories start to feel uninspiring and a strange darkness begins to creep into his elsewhere-world, the question becomes what has to happen next.
The show comes from the Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals, and is presented as a celebration of storytelling, with music, laughter, friendship and imagination at its centre.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes. Creative team: Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals.
