A Midsummer Night’s Dream 26S at the Globe Theatre is a vibrant new production of Shakespeare’s comedy. The play turns the theatre into a space for communal celebration beneath summer skies.
As night falls on the eve of a royal wedding, a company of amateur performers prepares a play for the occasion and invites the audience into their story. A group of lovers then chase desire and connection through a moonlit forest, where playful spirits, fairy mischief and shifting identities shape the action.
