Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe, Bankside, London, UK, SE1 9DT, is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit through the Globe Theatre with time in the exhibition space, giving a clear look at the theatre’s stagecraft and its connection to Shakespeare’s London.

The walk-through exhibition covers more than 400 years of history through sights, sounds and stories. Seasonal displays revisit selected shows, and interactive costumes and props give visitors the chance to explore performance from the inside.

Expert Guides lead the tour inside the Globe Theatre and tell the story of the original 1599 theatre, including its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

All tours are in English and are suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. As this is an open-air theatre, tours go ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
