About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is a guided visit and exhibition experience focused on the Globe Theatre and Shakespeare’s London. It combines a 50 minute guided tour with self-guided time in a walk-through exhibition space, where visitors can explore over 400 years of history, seasonal displays, and interactive costumes and props.

Inside the Globe Theatre, expert Guides explain the story of the original 1599 theatre, including how it survived plague, fire and political oppression, and how it returned in the 1990s. The tour also highlights the theatre’s craftsmanship and the scale of the audiences that once filled it.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

The tour is in English and suitable for all ages. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. Shakespeare’s Globe is an open-air theatre and tours go ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
