About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit to the Globe Theatre with time in a walk-through exhibition space that traces more than 400 years of Shakespeare’s London and the history of the theatre.

In the exhibition space, you can see seasonally curated displays and explore interactive costumes and props before entering the theatre itself. Guides explain the story of the original 1599 theatre, including its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s.

The tour is in English and suitable for all ages, with information sheets available in a number of languages.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
