About Deep Azure

Deep Azure at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse is a poetic and powerful exploration of grief, justice and Black identity. Following the death of Azure’s fiancé at the hands of police, the story unfolds as a lyrical epic searching for hope and healing.

The production is scheduled to run from 7 February to 11 April 2026.
