A Midsummer Night's Dream 26S at the Globe Theatre is a new production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream. It places the play in a setting of communal celebration, with the theatre becoming the backdrop for a midsummer night of shifting emotions, mischief and change.

As a royal wedding approaches, an amateur company prepares a play for the occasion. At the same time, a group of lovers chase desire and connection through a moonlit forest, where they cross paths with playful spirits in a fairy realm where anything can happen.

Hearts open, spells go awry and transformations unfold before dawn. The production brings together the play’s story of lovers, performers and spirits in one shared night at the Globe.
