SEA LIFE London Standard Entry at SEA LIFE London, County Hall, takes you through a series of themed habitat zones, including Polar Adventure, Ocean Zone, Rainforest Adventure, jellyfish displays and shark areas. The aquarium is home to over 5,000 animals, with Gentoo penguins, green sea turtles, stingrays, a zebra shark and a resident crocodile called Forest among the highlights.

Interactive daily talks and feeds take place throughout the day for octopuses, rays, penguins, sharks and rainforest creatures, giving you more time to learn about the animals as you move around the attraction.

Allow around 1.5 to 2 hours for the visit, depending on how long you want to spend inside. SEA LIFE London is open every day except Christmas Day: Monday to Friday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm for last entry, and Saturday from 9.30am to 6pm for last entry. Some extended opening hours run during school holidays.

Key facts: Please arrive for your booked timeslot and present your e-ticket, either printed or on a mobile device, to be scanned before the start of your tour.

Before you book

Infants aged 3 and under are free, but a ticket is still required. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. The attraction is fully wheelchair accessible, can admit up to 10 wheelchair users at any one time, and wheelchair places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Mobility scooters cannot be admitted.

If you have a multi-attraction ticket, the timeslot you book is for SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Once your e-ticket is issued, you can log into the Merlin booking portal to book timeslots for the other attractions in your package, choosing a date from 3 days before to 90 days after the main attraction booking date.

SEA LIFE London is within easy walking distance of Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster Underground stations. Waterloo is the closest, about five minutes' walk via signs for the South Bank. Embankment and Charing Cross are around 10 to 15 minutes' walk across Hungerford Bridge. From Westminster station, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
