SEA LIFE London Deluxe Entry at SEA LIFE London, County Hall, takes you through the aquarium’s themed habitat zones, including Polar Adventure, Ocean Zone, Rainforest Adventure and the shark area. Along the way you can see Gentoo Penguins, green sea turtles, stingrays, a zebra shark, jellyfish and the resident crocodile, Forest.

The aquarium is home to over 5,000 animals and includes interactive daily talks to help you learn more about the creatures on display. Talks and regular feeds take place throughout the day for octopuses, rays, penguins, sharks and rainforest creatures, with the daily timetable available on arrival.

The full visit usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours, although this depends on how long you choose to spend inside the aquarium.

Key facts: Open every day except Christmas Day. Monday to Friday and Sunday opening hours are 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 5pm; Saturday opening hours are 9:30am to 6pm, with last entry at 6pm. Opening times can change, and some extended hours run during school holidays.

Before you book

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 and under go free, but they still need a ticket. Please arrive at your booked timeslot and present your e-ticket, printed or on a mobile device, so it can be scanned before the start of your visit.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase. Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. SEA LIFE London is fully wheelchair accessible, can admit up to 10 wheelchair users at any one time, and wheelchair places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Mobility scooters cannot be admitted.

For multi-attraction tickets, the timeslot you book is for SEA LIFE London Aquarium. After receiving your e-ticket, you can log into the Merlin booking portal to book timeslots for the other attractions in the package, choosing a date from 3 days before to 90 days after the main attraction booking date.

Waterloo is the closest Underground station, around five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are around 10 to 15 minutes’ walk via Hungerford Bridge, and Westminster station is also nearby; take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
