SEA LIFE London Aquarium at County Hall on Westminster Bridge Road is an aquarium experience with themed habitat zones, including Polar Adventure, Ocean Zone, Rainforest Adventure, jellyfish displays and shark exhibits. The visit features over 5,000 animals and gives you a chance to explore a range of underwater habitats in one place.

Interactive daily talks take place throughout the day, alongside regular feeds for octopuses, rays, penguins, sharks and rainforest creatures. Among the animals mentioned are Gentoo penguins, green sea turtles, stingrays, a zebra shark and the resident crocodile, Forest.

Key facts: Allow around 1.5 to 2 hours for the full experience. SEA LIFE London is open every day except Christmas Day; Monday to Friday and Sunday opening is 10am to 5pm last entry, and Saturday opening is 9.30am to 6pm last entry. Some extended opening hours operate during school holidays.

Before you book

Please visit at your booked timeslot and present your e-ticket to staff, either printed or on a mobile device, so you can be scanned in before the start of your tour. There are no exchanges or refunds available after purchase.

Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but they must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and are entitled to one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival with proof of disability.

The attraction is fully wheelchair accessible and can admit up to 10 wheelchair users at any one time. Wheelchair places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so you do not need to reserve a wheelchair slot. Mobility scooters cannot be admitted.

SEA LIFE London is within easy walking distance of Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster Underground stations. Waterloo is the closest station, about five minutes away on foot. Embankment and Charing Cross are around a ten to fifteen minute walk via Hungerford Bridge, and from Westminster you can follow signs for Westminster Pier.
