About The London Eye Standard Experience + River Cruise

The London Eye Standard Experience + River Cruise at the London Eye combines a 40-minute circular River Thames cruise with standard admission to the London Eye, access via Queue A and entry to the 4D cinema experience. It is a combined ticket for two different views of London’s riverside landmarks and skyline.

The River Cruise boards and disembarks at the London Eye Pier only, and audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. Since 2000, the London Eye has taken over 70 million people on a journey into London’s skyline, and it is described as the most popular paid attraction in the UK.

Key facts: The River Cruise lasts 40 minutes and the London Eye rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. The timeslot booked is for the River Cruise; your London Eye timeslot is booked later through the booking portal after you receive your e-ticket.

Before you book

Infants aged 3 years and under go free, but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability.

Go to the London Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. Present your e-ticket, printed or on a mobile device, to be scanned before boarding the cruise. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. Mobility scooters are not admitted. After booking, wheelchair users are recommended to email customer.services@londoneye.com, quoting the order reference, to book a wheelchair timeslot in advance.

Waterloo is about five minutes’ walk away, while Embankment and Charing Cross are around a ten to fifteen minute walk.
