About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from the pier below the London Eye at County Hall and is an award-winning 40-minute circular sightseeing cruise on the Thames. It gives you a view of London’s riverside landmarks from the water, with guides on board providing commentary about places including the Houses of Parliament, Millennium Bridge and Tower Bridge.

This is a circular cruise without stops, with boarding and disembarking at The London Eye pier only. The ticket includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience.

Audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. The cruise is suitable in all weather, with covered and sun deck seating.

Before you book

Please arrive at The London Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. You can present your e-ticket printed or on a mobile device, and it will be scanned before boarding.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 and under are free, but still need a ticket. The price does not include a flight on The London Eye.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival with proof of disability. After booking, wheelchair timeslots can be arranged by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com and quoting your order reference. Mobility scooters are not admitted.

The London Eye Pier is situated below The London Eye. Waterloo is the closest Underground station, about five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are a 10 to 15 minute walk, and Westminster is also nearby.
