About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise is an award-winning 40-minute sightseeing cruise departing from the pier below the London Eye. It takes in the Thames from the city’s river level, giving you views of some of London’s best-known riverside landmarks.

On board, expert guides provide commentary on places including the Millennium Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge, as well as references to Harry Potter and other city landmarks. The ticket also includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The lastminute.com London Eye 4D experience.

Duration: 40 minutes. Route: circular cruise with no stops, boarding and disembarking at The lastminute.com London Eye Pier only. Audio commentary: available on a first come first serve basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. The ticket does not include a flight on The lastminute.com London Eye, and the cruise is suitable in all weathers with covered and sun deck seating.

Before you book

Infants aged 3 and under are free, but they still need a reserved ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Arrive at The lastminute.com London Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. You can present your ticket printed or on a mobile device. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. If you are travelling with a wheelchair, it is recommended that you email customer.services@londoneye.com in advance with your order reference to book a timeslot. Mobility scooters cannot be admitted.

The London Eye Pier is below The London Eye. Nearby Underground stations include Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster. Waterloo is about five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are around ten to fifteen minutes’ walk across Hungerford Bridge. From Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
