The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London is a musical by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. It won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda.
The show puts their attempts to make conversions into sharp focus against the realities they find there, with music by Robert Lopez. It is described as a comedy that is rude, potentially offensive and endearing, with themes that touch on religion and consumerism.
Its success has made it a long-running West End title, and the production has been widely seen by audiences in London.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval. The production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language.
Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and seated next to a ticketholder aged at least 18. Children under 3 will not be admitted.
Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Food and drink bought elsewhere may not be taken into the theatre.
