The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is the West End musical created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the team behind South Park. The show follows two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda, where their expectations are quickly tested by harsh realities and a warlord.
Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, the production combines songs, comedy and a story that takes on religion, consumerism and other big themes alongside its deliberately rude and irreverent humour. It has become a long-running West End success and remains popular with audiences looking for a sharp, fast-moving musical.
