About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a musical set in the world of the Moulin Rouge. It follows a story of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, with a book by John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine, and choreography by Sonya Tayeh.

Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, the production is presented as a stage adaptation of the film, combining music, dance and theatrical performance in a way that stays close to the original story’s world and themes.

Before you book

Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Strobe lighting will be used in the show.

For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
