About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a musical mash-up extravaganza. The production is directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

Set in a world of splendour and romance, the show centres on Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, with Bohemians and aristocrats meeting in a world of glitz, grandeur and electrifying enchantment.

Key facts: Running time 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Strobe lighting is used in the show.

Before you book

For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive by 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
