About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a musical mash-up extravaganza. Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh, it presents a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

Set in a world of splendour and romance, the show brings Bohemians and aristocrats together in a story of glitz, grandeur and glamour. The production is described as a stage version of the film, with the emphasis on its high-energy, musical-theatre interpretation.

Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Suitable for ages 12 years and older.

Before you book

Strobe lighting will be used in the show. For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before start time; for evening performances, it opens 105 minutes before start time.

Please arrive by 30 minutes before start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point. For access bookings, please call 0333 009 5399.
