Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a musical adaptation directed by Tony Award® winner Alex Timbers. It is a theatrical version of the story of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and, above all, Love, with a book by Tony Award® winner John Logan and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award® winner Justin Levine.

The show is set in a world of splendour and romance, with Bohemians and aristocrats mixing in a story built around glitz, grandeur and glamour. It combines the film’s story with a new musical mash-up format and choreography by Tony Award® winner Sonya Tayeh.

This production is presented as a large-scale musical theatre experience, with a strong emphasis on staging, music and dance. It is suitable for ages 12 and older.

Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Age guidance: suitable for ages 12 and older.

Before you book

Venue opening times: for matinees, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time; for evening performances, it opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance begins. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
