About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre takes audiences back to Hawkins in 1959, before the world turned upside down. The story follows young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, Joyce Maldonado and new student Henry Creel as a regular town and its familiar worries begin to shift.

The production is brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, using theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to present a new chapter in the Stranger Things story from the beginning of the timeline.

Duration: Approx. 3 hrs including an interval. Recommended age: 12+.

Before you book

Under 5s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive 30 minutes before the performance begins. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
