About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a theatre production set in Hawkins in 1959, before the events of the Stranger Things story. It follows young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, Joyce Maldonado and new student Henry Creel as everyday life in town begins to change.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to explore the beginning of the Stranger Things story and the shadows of the past that reach into it. It has drawn five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Standard.

Before you book

Recommended 12+. Under 5s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before start time. Please arrive 30 minutes before start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
