About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is at the Phoenix Theatre in London. Set in Hawkins in 1959, it shows a town dealing with ordinary problems before the events of Stranger Things, as young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby’s sister Joyce Maldonado and new student Henry Creel become part of a story that reaches back into the past.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to take audiences to the beginning of the Stranger Things story.

Before you book

Recommended 12+. Under 5s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time and you should arrive 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
