About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre is set in Hawkins, 1959, where Jim Hopper’s car will not start, Bob Newby’s sister will not take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado wants to graduate and leave town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family discovers that a fresh start is not simple, and the past has a long reach.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to take audiences back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story. It has received five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Standard.
