About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is at the Phoenix Theatre, London. Set in Hawkins in 1959, it follows a town with regular worries as Jim Hopper's car will not start, Bob Newby's sister will not take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start is not so easy.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production looks back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story through theatrical storytelling and stagecraft.

Before you book

Age guidance: Recommended 12+. Under 5s are not permitted, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

Arrival and entry: The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time and you should arrive by 30 minutes before the start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. Tickets: No exchanges or refunds after purchase.
