Harry Potter and The Cursed Child - One-Part at the Palace Theatre in London's West End is a play by Jack Thorne, based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. The story is set 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, and follows Harry, his son Albus, and a new generation at Hogwarts.
The production is the most awarded play in history and the most awarded West End play in Olivier Awards history, with a record-breaking nine Olivier Awards in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.
Running time: 2 hours 55 minutes, including one 20-minute interval. Production note: The One-Part show begins from 9th October with a reimagined production; the Two-Part show's final performance is on 20th September.
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is recommended for children aged 8 and over. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket, children under 5 are not permitted, and Babes in Arms are not admitted to the auditorium. Patrons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
