Hatcha FREE DJ SET - Live at OTHERSIDE

Now the man who needs no introduction - the legendary DJ Hatcha is returning to Otherside!

If you missed him last time or are relatively new to Dubstep, Hatcha is a producer and DJ from South London who is considered by many as one of the key origin points of Dubstep. Starting out as a buyer for a record shop in Croydon (Big Apple), Hatcha, alongside others such as El-B and Horsepower Productions, started stripping back garage and making it more bass heavy. Hatcha was already playing on pirate radio and this "Dark Garage" was gaining momentum. Later he inspired and mentored Skream & Benga at the start of their journey into forming Dubstep as a genre. Hatcha managed to break into mainstream radio and even got a regular show on Kiss FM. If it wasn't for him, using the platforms he was a part of, to push dubplates.. who knows where the genre would've got to!
