One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a new staging of Ken Kesey’s story, adapted by Dale Wasserman and directed by Clint Dyer. Set inside a psychiatric facility, it follows Chief Bromden, who has been silent for years, and the arrival of Randle P. McMurphy, whose defiance unsettles the ward.
Under Nurse Ratched’s strict rule, the patients have been stripped of their humanity. McMurphy’s rebellion brings their voices back into focus and places freedom, dissent and control at the centre of the drama.
