Dracula is Kip Williams’ reimagining of the immortal gothic horror, with Harriet transforming into all 23 roles. Set in a crumbling castle deep in the wilderness, the story follows Count Dracula as he emerges from hiding and turns his attention to a new target.
The production has been described as “an outstanding performance” by the Financial Times and as “raising the stakes for British theatre” by The Telegraph. Williams reunites with the creative team behind The Picture of Dorian Gray for a style the Financial Times called “fabulously sophisticated cine-theatre”.
The Times has also called it “event theatre”, and the production frames Dracula as a blood-filled horror story with a seductively unsettling edge.
Running time: approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, with no interval.
Age guidance: suitable for ages 12 and over. This production contains adult themes, descriptions of violence, theatrical haze, depictions of a medical procedure, needles, theatrical blood, on-screen blood imagery and flashing light effects.
