About Cyrano de Bergerac

Cyrano de Bergerac is Edmond Rostand’s classic story of a poet, soldier and philosopher who is brilliant with words and swordplay, but haunted by doubts about his appearance. As Roxane falls for another man, the handsome but inarticulate Christian turns to Cyrano for help.

Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the production transfers to the West End for a strictly limited season. It is directed by Simon Evans and co-adapted with Debris Stevenson.

Reviews have described the production as “playful, poignant, profound” (Financial Times), “huge-hearted” and “enchanting” (The Times), and “hilariously funny and ultimately heartbreaking” (Mail on Sunday).
