The Smile Of Her comes to the Marylebone Theatre in London for a strictly limited run, with Academy Award and Emmy winner Christine Lahti performing the play herself. This autobiographical work follows a woman’s journey from 1950s suburban America to the heart of a changing world, confronting family mythology, misogyny, ambition, motherhood and the cost of being “a good girl”.
Described as funny, furious and achingly personal, the play explores the stories we inherit, the voices we silence and the effort to reclaim ourselves.
Running time: 90 minutes, no interval. Dates: 10 July to 29 August 2026.

This production is suitable for ages 12 and over. Latecomers will be accommodated wherever possible at a suitable break in the performance. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
