The Smile Of Her at the Marylebone Theatre is Christine Lahti’s acclaimed new play, presented in London for a strictly limited run. Academy Award and Emmy winner Lahti performs the piece herself.
This autobiographical work follows a woman’s journey from 1950s suburban America to a changing world, taking in family mythology, misogyny, ambition, motherhood and the pressure to be a “good girl”.
Funny, furious and personal, the play explores the stories people inherit, the voices they silence and the effort to reclaim themselves.
Running time: 90 minutes, no interval. Dates: 10th July to 29th August 2026.

Suitable for ages 12 and over. Latecomers will be accommodated wherever possible at a suitable break in the performance. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
