Relics at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is the world premiere of Ben Ockrent’s darkly comic family drama. Four siblings reunite at their recently deceased mother’s home to divide her possessions, but a long-buried family secret comes to light and changes what they think they know about themselves and each other.
Liv wants to force life back to how it used to be, Rob is trying to keep everyone on speaking terms, Michelle has had enough of holding the family line together, and Jonny is set on pressing every button. The play explores inherited legacies, the choices people make and the compromises involved in growing up.
It is directed by the award-winning Michael Longhurst.
