Relics plays at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. When four siblings reunite at their recently-deceased mother’s home to divide her possessions, a long-buried family secret comes to light and changes what they think they know about each other. The play follows Liv, Rob, Michelle and Jonny as they each react differently to the fallout.
The world premiere of Ben Ockrent’s Relics is described as a darkly comic family drama about inherited legacies, the choices people make, and the compromise involved in growing up. It is directed by the award-winning Michael Longhurst.
