

An Ideal Husband is playing at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre in London. Oscar Wilde’s comedy follows Sir Robert Chiltern, whose reputation and private life appear secure until the arrival of Mrs Cheveley, who has secrets to spill.
As those revelations threaten scandal, betrayal and public disgrace, the play asks how far a seemingly perfect gentleman will go to protect his good name. This production is directed by the Lyric’s Associate Director, Nicholai La Barrie.
