

An Ideal Husband at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is a production of Oscar Wilde’s comedy about reputation, secrets and social scandal. Sir Robert Chiltern appears to have the perfect life, until the arrival of Mrs Cheveley threatens to expose him and bring public disgrace.
Directed by the Lyric’s Associate Director Nicholai La Barrie, the play follows the pressure on a man trying to protect his good name as betrayal and hidden motives come to light.
